58th Leicester (Oadby Trinity) Scout Group.

This friendly Group offers a wide range of activities for boys from 6 years upwards. The Group consists of a Beaver Colony, a Cub Pack and a Scout Troop. The Group is sponsored by Oadby Trinity Methodist Church, which provides a place for the various sections to meet, but children from all faiths are welcome.

Although at the present time boys only are members, girls are welcome to approach the leaders of each section if they are interested.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all offer a varied programme of activities to help them develop their full potential as individuals. We hope over the time they are with us they will learn consideration and respect for each other as well as for themselves.

The Beaver Colony is run by Sue Robinson, where the 6 to 8 year olds work for various badges, hopefully completing their Bronze award before moving on to Cubs.

Barbara Taylor runs the Cub Pack with the assistance of Wendy Bowman and Lee Boldwin. The age range is 8 to 10½ working for their Silver award..

Michael Robinson runs the Scout Troop with the help of Sally Wan. The age range is from 10½ to 14. They work towards their Chief Scouts' Gold award with various challenging activities.

A new section for the 14 to 18 year old is called the Explorer Scouts and this is run on a district basis.
