As a church we have a number of activities which take place on our premises involving children and young people.
Below are listed the main activities. Click on a heading to get more details.
Junior Church
Juniors leave for their own activities fifteen minutes into the service.
Scouts, Cubs and Beavers
This friendly Group offers a wide range of activities for boys from 6 years upwards. The Group consists of a Beaver Colony, a Cub Pack and a Scout Troop.
Rainbows, Brownies and Guides
It doesn't matter who you are, or what you do, guiding gives you the opportunity to have fun, make life-long friends and learn new skills.
Friends After School At Trinity
(FAST) is an after school club for children aged 5-10. It meets every Tuesday during term time from 3.30-5pm. Activities include games, craft, stories, singing and more.
Jenga
Jenga members have their own activities and discussion group which meets at 7.45pm, on a monthly basis after the evening service.
Students
Many of the halls of Leicester University, and one from De- Montfort University, lie within Oadby (close to the Oadby/Leicester border). As a result, although we are not a 'chaplaincy church,' we often have students worshipping with us, who are welcome to join in the drama, music, house groups, and other activities they find helpful. In particular we offer a Young Adults Group , which is appropriate for people of Student Age.
