A CHURCH FOR ALL AT THE HEART OF THE COMMUNITY

Definition: Jenga - a derivative of the Swahili word meaning to build

Jenga is the name for the youth group, which meets on the last Sunday evening of every month. Members start from the age of 12 years old and upwards. We spend most of our time involved in social and fun activities.

Our meetings typically take place between 7:45pm and 9:30pm and include a chance to catch up, various games, trips out and quizzes. Every meeting involves refreshments and the ‘Bit at The End'. This is when we spend a few minutes of more serious time, thinking and discussing about spiritual and moral issues.

Our activity programme is based around the academic year, venues range from the Church to leaders and Church members houses. During the summer months, we like to stretch our legs and have a day outing or weekend away.

Whilst the group is mainly made up of young people connected with the Church. We welcome anyone to come and join us, who are up for some fun and conversation. We are a friendly bunch and would love to meet new people.

Every meeting, we ask for a £1 contribution to help with the running of our youth group.

The leaders are:
Ali Crocker
Hannah Benbow
Sam Collins
Rachel Benbow
