In plain terms a disciple of Jesus believes that:
· Jesus is the son of God, fully God and fully human.
· Jesus died on the cross to take the hit for all the bad stuff we do and will go on to do.
· Jesus rose again after 3 days, showing that the curse of death (the penalty for sin) has been
totally dealt with.
And in turn, a follower of Jesus:
· Follows the teachings of Jesus as found in the Bible
· Is obedient to Him
· Develops a relationship with God.
· Seeks to serve Him in whatever way he/she can.
· Would normally get stuck into a local church to mix with and learn from other believers
(who are now part of your family!)
