Each Methodist Year (1st September to 31st August) Trinity's Church Council nominates a charity which the church works for during the year.

It works on a three year cycle. One year it is a local charity, the next a national charity and the third year it is an international one.

Sometimes we have specific events to raise funds for the charity, the profits from the Saturday coffee mornings go to it, donations from Sunday coffee and any surplus funds left over from family events are also usually donated to the charity.

Our current charity is SENSE, for deaf/blind people.
